The time of God's coming,RECOGNIZE it? Palm Sunday, isn't just about cool palm branches, it's an announcement of sorts, an invite to you and me; it's a time out for DECISION! With God there is NO wiggle room! As humans, we ALL like a bit of wiggle room, ALL looking for an out, ALL trying to find a place to HIDE out. But the REALITY of Christ the "KING of KINGS" demands you and I make a decision:  BELIEVE or NOT!

Hundred's of disciples gathered, NOT in protest, but in praise...joyful praise doctor Luke reports:

“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”  (Luke 19:38, NIV)

Anti-Christ, religious leaders, hell bent on eliminating Christ rallied against him vocalizing their protest, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" (Luke 19:39, NIV). This personal and targeted protest exposed their hearts, and their rejection of Christ as the promised Messiah; their truth, relegated Christ to "Teacher-Rabbi," and DEMANDED Messiah silence His followers.  For what,  praising God joyfully, in answer to centuries of jewish prayers anticipating the day of Messiah's coming to rescue His people and ultimately, the nations, ALL people.  

Christ in response to these anti-Christ protestors, has hard words of REAL TRUTH - that is God-Truth, speaking of the future invasion of Titus, a Roman General, in 70AD during the First Jewish - Roman war, where the second Jewish Temple was destroyed.

"The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”  (Luke 19:44, NIV).
