Independence from oppression, this theme, the foundation stone of the American Rebellion against Great Britain is a chief purpose of Christ coming, life of service, sacrificial death and victorious resurrection. He came to set us FREE!

The Declaration of Independence, which was read throughout the thirteen original colonies, outlines in a concise, clear manner the oppressive actions that Great Britain, it's legislature, and ruler had imposed on it's own citizens in America.  This oppressive rule, by a tyrannical government over it's people led to their rebellion and fight for the independent, self-rule of the people.  Our founders certainly, considered God as Sovereign over His Creation, as they on multiple occasions referred to Him in this our founding document.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

The fight to see ALL mankind free from oppression continues!  It is a super-natural, spiritual battle that must be fought in the unseen realms, those realms that are most often neglected, or explained away by mans faulty reason which is unable to comprehend the enormity and totality of God and His creation.

Jesus came to set men free from sin, curse, the powers of demonic forces, their ruler, his dark kingdom of death and deliver into righteousness, blessing, intimate relationship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the three in One God's KINGDOM OF LIGHT!
