A More COMPLETE Salvation, how about it?

All of us struggle with BELIEF, not just to get to heaven, but that God can and will CHANGE you progressively, heal you and make you more and more whole. That's a more complete salvation. Need some of that?

Matthew reminds us why Jesus came in the Christmas story,

"She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will [a]save His people from their sins.”

That saving from sins, is so much more than we realize, it also entails the saving from the effects and consequence of our sins.

Paul drives this point home, right after he exposes us all to the One who is Salvation in his letter to the believers in Philippi,

"So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. For it is [not your strength, but it is] [a]God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:12-13)

How about you, does that sound like a saving work you still NEED!
